After a tough 0–2 weekend, the Lady Cannoneers returned to the court with purpose, passion, and a point to prove and they delivered in spectacular fashion. In front of a roaring home crowd, the team stormed past SUNY Broome in straight sets (25–23, 25–23, 25–19), reminding fans exactly what Cannoneer volleyball is all about: grit, grind, and greatness.
Key performances:
- Kills: Keira Guerriero led the charge with 12 kills, followed by Kaitlyn Pownall with 9 and Jasmene Duymaz with 5.
- Service Aces: Kali Waltz was clutch from the line with 3 aces. Abby Rudd and Leah Ingerson each added 2.
- Assists: Waltz and Rudd ran a smooth offense, dishing out 14 and 12 assists respectively. Fleming and Ste-Marie chipped in 2 apiece.
- Digs: Pownall anchored the defense with 7 digs, Guerriero added 5, and Fleming and Ingerson each tallied 4.
- Blocks: Duymaz, Ingerson, and MaryAnn Tulafono each recorded a key block to shut down Broome's attack.
