Win in Three Sets Against SUNY Broome

The Lady Cannoneers traveled to Broome on Wednesday, September 18th for a conference match and came home victorious in three sets (25-23, 25-22, and 25-19).  It was the fourth time the team faced Broome in 11 days and they knew they needed to come out strong to silence a large home crowd, and they did!  Allison Burrows continues to be a steady force compiling 12 kills and 17 digs, Maggie Vazquez chipped in 10 kills and 12 digs, and Jenna Wilson had an outstanding night in the libero position totalling 16 digs.  Grace Gehrke finished with 4 kills, Alyssa Evans added 5 kills, and Brooke Everson finished with four kills.  Kelsey Finster compiled 32 assists and kept the team energized throughout the match and Savanna Baker had a solid serving night, serving in at 100% and tallying 5 service points.  The team will travel to Monroe on Saturday to play 3 regional matches and then to Corning on Sunday for another conference match.  Let's go Cannoneers!
