The Lady Cannoneers traveled to SUNY Adirondack for a regional pool play pod on Saturday. They went 3-0, beating Hudson Valley Community College first in three sets: 25-7, 25-13, and 25-15. Next they played North Country Community College and won in three sets: 25-4, 25-5, and 25-8. Finally, they matched up against SUNY Adirondack, taking them to four sets and coming out on top: 25-18, 25-17, 18-25, and 25-18. Cassie Birth finished out the day with 40 kills, and 33 digs, while Xanara Ruiz added 23 kills and 39 digs and Alea Gentles added 23 kills and 7 blocks. Chloe Stinebrickner finished with 100 assists and 13 kills, Jenna Scott added 50 digs and 8 aces, Meaghan LaClair added 10 digs, and Mariah Corbett chipped in 13 digs. Hannah Rook added 9 kills and 2 blocks and Paige Durdon added 10 digs.
The team will travel to Cayuga Community College for a conference match this Wednesday.
