Lady Cannoneers Advance to Regional Finals

It was an eventful night for the Cannoneer Women's Soccer Program (#3) as they hosted the visiting Hudson Valley Vikings (#6) in the Region 3 Semi-Final match. A complete team performance was more than enough to ensure a hard fought victory for the Cannoneers. Dillenback opened the scoring early in the game with a beautiful long-range effort and it wasn't long before Stokely got herself on the scoresheet via a fantastic Netto assist.  The Lady Cannoneers applied pressure and went on to score two more goals in the second half. (Stokely and Bombard) to seal the match. On the scoresheet was Stokely with 2 goals and 2 assists, Netto with 2 assists, and Bombard & Dillenback with a goal each, Alberry captained her defense to another fantastic performance and Vaughn proved unbeatable yet again ensuring the clean sheet. The Cannoneers record improves to 10-2, and they look forward to a trip to Genesee for the Regional Final match against Genesee (#2) on Sunday.
