The Cannoneer Women's Soccer Program put in a fantastic team performance and managed to win the match despite leading scorer Samantha Stokely going off injured early in the game. Hannah Netto provided two assists on the day, 1 to Stokely in the opening minute and another to Abby Bombard to give the Cannoneers some breathing room. Fantastic defensive performances lead by sophomores Jillian Alberry, Netto, and Gianna Richards along with Freshman Eily Vaughn making 11 saves in goal was enough to ensure the Cannoneers earned a well-deserved clean sheet victory over the generals. The Cannoneers look forward to playing Tompkins Cortland on Wednesday.
