The Lady Cannoneers Defeat the Lady Kats!
On Sunday, the Jefferson Lady Cannoneers proved to be too much for the visiting Erie Lady Kats as they win their home opener 8-2.

The Jefferson Women's Soccer team defeated the visiting Erie Lady Kats, 8-2 in their first home game of the season on Sunday! Although Erie struck first with a goal by Rachel Zimmerman, it wasn't long before Jefferson answered with goal of their own by Whitney Maitland, Woodville, NY, assisted by Annette Rishe, Potsdam, NY. 5 other Lady Cannoneers scored for Jefferson; Kalie Frank, Canton, NY, Mackenzie Kidder-2 goals, Carthage, NY, Kerstin Phelps, Clayton, NY, Lauren Smith, Canton, NY, and Annette Rishe, Potsdam, NY. Whitney Maitland had another goal and 2 assists.
