The Lady Cannoneers Blast the Cayuga Lady Spartans!
The Jefferson Women's Soccer team defeated the visiting Cayuga Lady Spartans 9-1.

The earlier scheduled contest between the Lady Cannoneers and the visiting Cayuga Lady Spartans was played yesterday at JCC. Jefferson proved how strong they were with only fielding 10 players, by defeating Cayuga 9-1. Brianna Sharlow struck first with a penalty kick within 3 minutes of the game, then later on added another goal, off an assist from Whitney Maitland. Whitney also scored 2 goals and assisted 2 more goals for Morgan Nabywaniec and Francheska Rivera. Paige Morgia blasted 2 goals, while Kirsten Stewart added a goal assisted by Rivera.
Kate Gehrke had 5 saves and Morgan Nabywaniec had 2 saves for Jefferson.
