The Lady Cannoneers defeat the Herkimer Lady Generals 64-47
On Saturday the Lady Cannoneers traveled to face their Region III opponent the Herkimer County Lady General for the 2nd time this week.

After a week off from games The Lady Cannoneers traveled to Region III opponent Herkimer for their second meeting in 6 days. Off to a quick and dominant start the Lady Cannoneers found themselves with a 26-2 lead after ten minutes of play. Herkimer fought back and waddled the Cannoneer lead to 18 at the halftime buzzer. With no secrets between the teams having played each other twice within the week, and this early in the season there was no surprise to the pace and styles of play in the second half. At the final buzzer The Lady Cannoneers found themselves with a 64-47 Region III road victory. Jasmine Canady led the way with 17 points and 9 assists, while Alyssa Crosby contributed 14 points and 12 rebounds.
