Jefferson Wins against Clinton!

Region III doesn't allow for any easy road wins throughout the season. With the addition of a four hour bus ride ahead of us, the journey to Clinton Community College posed to be a tough one. Our Lady Cannoneers answered the call to the bell, and started the game off knocking down  four of our first five shots jumping out to a quick 9-2 lead.  We would find ourselves down five points at halftime having to overcome a six minute drought without a field goal.

The second half played out to be a sequel to the start of the first half. Watching us erase the five point deficit quickly, and lead the rest of this game by no less than five points. Jasmine Canady, and Morgan Kiernan propelled the offense and led the charge defensively. Morgan notched 22 points, and Jasmine followed with 17. Thursday's win was a great team effort with everyone seeing playing time, and posting a great defensive effort allowing only 49 points!
