Jefferson Softball Fall Ball Weekend Results
The Jefferson Softball team showed promise of what is to come in the spring as they traveled to Clarkson this past weekend and competed in 3 games.
Overall the first game of the fall season was a great outing for our Jefferson Softball team. We came back from a 4-1 deficit and held Potsdam scoreless for 4 straight innings.
JCC scored 9 runs in the 3rd inning in the game against Onondaga Community College to bring the score within 1 run (OCC 11, JCC 10). The game was called in the bottom of the 5th due to time, however, the ability of our girls to string together hits bodes well for the upcoming season. I look forward to the successes in store for JCC softball with such strong leadership coming from our sophomore class demonstrated in our first fall game series.
