The Cannoneers put in a spirited performance nearly getting a draw off of nationally ranked Genesee, but gave up an unfortunate penalty in the final minutes of the match. Sophomore Alessio Caruana continues to enjoy being back from injury picking up his first collegiate goal in this match. Sophomore Captain Maxi Gili also opened his goal scoring account on Saturday. Karim Saleh put in another good shift in goal making 8+ saves. The Cannoneers look forward to a trip to Clinton this weekend where they hope to get back to winning ways.
