Cannoneers Lose Tough Battle

The Cannoneers played SUNY Adirondack on Saturday night at Watertown High School Turf Field and came up on the short end of a 2-0 game.  The Cannoneers and the Timberwolves played an even first half, only to see Adirondack dent the net with 13 minutes left, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime.  The second half would be much the same as both teams played physical soccer and SUNY Adirondack would score on a breakdown in the defensive third, to take a 2-0 lead and hold on for the win.

Jefferson will take on Onondaga on Wednesday. Game time is set for 4:00 pm here at JCC.
