After controlling play and taking the lead in the 66th minute of the match, on a goal from Tim Irwin, assisted by Edward Goodall , the Cannoneers could not hold on to the lead as Fulton Montgomery scored in the 75th minute. The game would stay that way until 1:05 seconds left in the second overtime as the raiders converted on a corner kick to win the game on a golden goal. It was a tough game to swallow as Jefferson had the better of the game, but came up short .
Next up the Cannoneers will take on the undefeated Broome Hornetes Wednesday afternoon at JCC. Game time is set for 2:00 pm.
