The Jefferson men's basketball team came up short against Corning, falling 72–60 despite a strong performance from Marcus Castine. Castine led the Cannoneers with a double-double, finishing with 16 points and 10 rebounds while providing a steady presence on both ends of the floor. Brandon Dodge also contributed offensively with 14 points, and Tyrone Brown added 13 points to round out Jefferson's top scorers. Jefferson battled throughout the game but struggled to keep pace with Corning down the stretch. The Cannoneers remained competitive for much of the contest, but Corning was able to pull away late to secure the 12-point victory.
Jefferson will look to regroup and bounce back in its next matchup as the team nears the end of their season.
