Cannoneers Lose Tough Battle on the Road
Jefferson Men's Basketball loses on the road to Finger Lakes.
The Cannoneers traveled to Finger Lakes CC on Saturday to play a conference game against the Lakers and wound up on the short end of an 85-72 loss. The game was tight throughout and the Cannoneers held a 1 point advantage at halftime. JCC would lead by 5 with 6 minutes to go, only to see the Lakers go on a run to end the game and secure the conference victory at home. The Cannoneers were led by Christian Rohlehr's 28 point, 9 rebound effort in the losing cause. Also contributing for the Cannoneers were Markees Cruz with a solid 15 point, 15 rebound game. Rounding out the scoring for Jefferson were Quincy Aubertine with 15, Jameir Sudler with 11 and Jared Thornton with 4 points.
