The Cannoneers Handle the Returning Alumni
The Jefferson Basketball team kicked off their season with a 20 point win over the Alumni in the annual Robert F. Williams Alumni Game.
The JCC men's basketball 2016 edition got the season started with a convincing win over the alumni to kick off of the Friends and Family Alumni Weekend. The alumni came back with a large number of players from 2005 on and it was a spirited contest until the second half when the Men's team would pull away for a comfortable 20 point win. Leading the way for this year's edition was Jameir Sudler with 22 points, Chirstian Rohlehr with 21 points, Quincy Aubertine with 17 points and Jerry Williams with 10 points. Leading the way for the Alumni were last years leaders from the runner-up regional squad, Natell Windley with 16 points and Javon Hunter with 12 points. Thanks to all of the alumni who made an effort to come out and have a good time. We look forward to seeing you again next year.
