The Cannoneers Lose a Tough One at Home
Last night the Jefferson Men's Basketball team fought hard but it wasn't enough to defeat the visiting Mohawk Valley Hawks.

The Cannoneers opened the home portion of their schedule with a tough, well played loss to Mohawk Valley Community College, 87-79. Dustin Pond led the way with 20 points, followed by Jagger Freeman with 14 points, 10 rebounds. Damien Jackson had 11 points for Jefferson while Sam Widrick contributed 10 points off the bench and Kevin Johnson handed out 8 assists. It was a great team effort and the Cannoneers look to rebound this Saturday against Schenectady County Community College at home on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
