POTSDAM, NY —The Jefferson Cannoneers delivered a commanding performance on the road, overwhelming the SUNY Potsdam Tundra with a decisive 24–2 victory. From the opening puck drop, the Cannoneers showcased their offensive firepower and depth, turning an early deficit into a relentless scoring surge.
SUNY Potsdam struck first in the opening period, capitalizing on a quick break to take a 1–0 lead. Brodie MacGregor got the start in net for Jefferson, settling in after the early goal. The Cannoneers responded with authority, netting six unanswered goals before the first intermission. Carson Barrett and Drew Blevins were among the early contributors, helping swing momentum firmly in Jefferson's favor.
The second period was all Cannoneers, as the team added five more goals to the scoreboard. Owen Vanbrocklin and Kellan Duffy each found the back of the net, continuing the offensive onslaught and keeping the Tundra on their heels.
