Jefferson and SUNY Adirondack Trade Wins in Second Series Showdown

Game 1 Report:

Cannoneers start off strong in the first inning with #11 Nick Spivey hits an RBI double to give the Cannoneers the early 1-0 lead. Timberwolves answer back by adding 3 runs to the board bottom of the 1st to get the 3-1 lead against the Cannoneers. Top of the 3rd the Cannoneers look to answer back with #22 Omari Williams hitting a rbi single to drive in another run making the game 3-2 Timberwolves. Top of the 4th the Cannoneers look to take the lead with #6 Daniel Story hitting a sac fly to drive in another run tiring the game up 3-3. #28 Yuliano Lopez hits a rbi single to drive in another run giving the Cannoneers the 4-3 lead. Bottom of the 4th Timberwolves #8 D'Andrea hits a rbi single to tie the game 4-4. Top of the 7th game 4-5 the Cannoneers look to take back the lead with #0 Ancel Rossell hitting a sac fly to help tie up the game 5-5. However the Cannoneers would fall to the Timberwolves with #19 Lukasz Smith walking off the game with stealing home. Cannoneers pitcher #21 Tyler Sovie would pick up 3 strikeouts and had only 2 earned runs. The Cannoneers had 4 errors and 8 hits. 

Game 2 Report:

The Cannoneers look to make a comeback in game 2 with #0 Ancel Rossell hitting an RBI single in the top of the first to get the early 1-0 lead. The Timberwolves answer with #8 D'Andrea hitting a sacrifice fly to drive in a run to tie the game 1-1 bottom of the first. The Cannoneers take the 2-1 lead in the top of the 2nd with #7 Nathan Eccleston scoring on a wild pitch. Bottom of the 2nd #5 Grant Clark gives up 6 runs with #4 Bishop of the Timberwolves knocking a 2 rbi double. #21 Tyler Sovie comes in the relief Clark to close out the inning with the Timberwolves ahead 7-2. Top of the 3rd #11 Nick Spivey gets his 4th home run of the season with a 2 run homer to make the score 7-4. Top of the 4th the Cannoneers look to close the gap with #0 Ancel Rossell scoring on a wild pitch making the score 7-5. Cannoneers finally get the lead with #2 Oiram Williams knocking an 3 rbi triple to give the lead 8-7. Top of the 5th the Cannoneers would make the game 9-7 with #0 Ancel Rossell grounding out to the second baseman to advance the runner to score. #21 Tyler Sovie closes the game not allowing anymore runs to secure the much needed victory for the Cannoneers. Cannoneers had 11 hits with 2 errors. #21 Tyler Sovie did not allow a single run in game 2 with only 1 hit in 6 innings.
