Jefferson dropped 2 games at home against Broome. Game 1s comeback attempt was started by Nick Spivey's solo HR with Nate Eccleston holding the deficit, allowing 3 hits in 5 innings of relief with 4 strikeouts.
Game 2 started strong with the Cannoneers jumping to a 4-0 lead after 3 innings behind Omari Williams 2 hit performance and Oriam Williams' 3 RBI day. Tyler Sovie bounced back on the mound pitching 6.1 innings allowing 4 earned runs but exited after allowing 3 runners on in the 7th leading to a Broome 6 run 7th that cost the Cannoneers the game.
Jefferson will look to bounce back Thursday at SUNY Broome to finish out the series.
