Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Watertown, NY--Freshman Golfer, John M. Downey, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Golf team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending April 22, 2012.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. John, a 2009 graduate of Alexandria Central School District, is majoring in Business Administration at Jefferson.  Downey’s accomplishments on the golf course this past week include shooting a 78 on Saturday at the Links at Sunset Ridge Golf Course. John has been the steadiest player on the team this season.
