Carson P. Barrett Named Jefferson Community College Athlete of the Week
Watertown, NY-sophomore golfer, Carson P. Barrett of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) golf team, was named JCC athlete of the week, for the week ending April 19, 2026.
Barrett, 2021 graduate of General Brown High School, is majoring in Sports Management at Jefferson. Carson led the Cannoneers over the weekend with two impressive scores in the Albany region. At the Hudson Valley Invitational, Barrett shot an 80 leading the team to their best team score of the season. He placed just outside the top 10. The very next day he shot a 79 at Hiland Park for the Adirondack Invitational. Carson's 79 placed him 3rd out of all Region 3. Carson's strong performances have caught many eyes of the opposing teams, showing that he is a great threat to being one of the best golfers in the region.
