Jefferson Softball Drop 2 to Monroe CC

Jefferson dropped two competitive games at nationally ranked Monroe CC on April 9, 2013.  In game one Jefferson fell 8-0 in the game was called in 5 innings.  Paige Morgia provided the only offensive spark for the Cannoneers going 2 for 3 at the plate with a double. 

Game 2 proved to be much more competitive as the Lady Cannoneers held a 2-2 tie in the 6th inning before Monroe was able to pull away with a 6-2 victory.  Jessica Dobson-Tufo fueled the offensive attack going 2 for 3 at the plate including a solo homerun and a triple.
